1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PMPprep.app ("the Service"), operated by Certin ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription and Billing

PMPprep.app offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Share, distribute, or reproduce any exam questions, answers, or proprietary content from the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, accounts, or systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on PMPprep.app, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, practice questions, study materials, and software, is the property of Certin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our express written permission.

6. Disclaimer

PMPprep.app is an independent exam preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMP, PMBOK, and PMI are registered trademarks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. All references to PMI materials are for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that using our Service will result in passing the PMP exam. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Certin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within the United States.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
